What is Vecade?

Vecade is a parametric 2D drafting tool with a built-in spreadsheet. You draw a dimension-driven sketch, then reference its geometry — area, length, width, height, entity count — directly in formulas that recalculate whenever the drawing changes.

What geometry values can I use in a formula?

Five functions, each called on a sketch: area, length, width, height and count. Organise your drawing into named sketches and you can price them separately — count the holes sketch, measure the profile sketch.

Can Vecade calculate cost or machining time from a drawing?

Yes, using formulas you write with your own rates. Vecade does not guess machining physics — you encode the numbers your shop already trusts, and the geometry feeds them automatically.

Do I need a stylus?
